　　Creedence Clearwater Revival在一九六九年出版第四張大碟時，內裏有一首歌，名為Cotton field。
　　以前黑膠唱片很少附有歌詞，想找歌詞，除非翻閱一些結他雜誌，近年網絡發達，幾舊至誰唱的版本的歌詞都有，當然包括這一首。原唱來自Lead Belly，經CCR改編，至今天才知比原曲少了兩節。
　　原曲充滿美國南方色彩，描寫勞動人民的生活情況，在辛勞的工作中，懂得苦中作樂。Creedence Clearwater Revival唱來充滿藍調搖滾，另有風格，後來Creedence Clearwater Revival拆伙，主音John Fogerty獨自發展，至九十年代和舊唱片公司解決了歌曲版權問題，終於可以唱回CCR時期的歌曲，於演唱會表演結他，將這歌流芳百世。
