Same Old Lang Syne

　　年近歲晚，想起了「友誼萬歲」這首歌，但因為比較忙碌，沒有太花時間去找。年初二回來上班，見空閒時間多著，於是認真找一找這首歌的出處。找的同時，想起了Dan Fogelberg的一首歌Same Old Lang Syne。
　　Same Old Lang Syne歌詞寫得優美，以歌曲來敘事，記念逝去的日子。在雜貨店碰到舊戀人，緬懷昔日情景，講到舊日的歡樂，現在的無奈，如今只留下欷歔，當轉身離去時，雪也化成了雨水。結尾一段音樂，拿了Auld Lang Syne（友誼萬歲）作結，特別令人傷感。正因為這幾首歌的原因，唱片架上便擁有了這張雙唱片「The Innocent Age」。
　　在搜尋器找到這首歌本來是值得高興的事，不過同時也顯示了這則已是接近兩個月前的新聞：
歌手丹佛格柏病逝
　　【聯合報╱記者項貽斐／綜合報導】歌手丹佛格柏（Dan Fogelberg）16日上午6時因前列腺癌病逝於緬因州的家，得年56。他過世時平靜安詳，妻子則在身旁送他最後一程。
　　自2004年診斷出癌症以來，丹佛格柏堅強地面對，並感謝粉絲對他的支持。1951年出生的丹佛格柏是位創作型歌手，音樂風格橫跨民謠、搖滾和鄉村，而且充滿詩意。1980年丹佛格柏推出「Phoenix」專輯，讓他成為紅遍全球的歌手，其中的單曲「Longer」更以優美浪漫的抒情樂風及歌詞，成為市場的長銷歌曲。
　　人如其歌的丹佛柏格後來將關注焦點放在生態環境議題，並在2003年推出最後一張專輯「Full Circle」， 一年後，因診斷發現罹患前列腺癌不得不放棄巡迴演唱計畫。【2007/12/18 聯合報】

　　美國著名創作民歌手Dan Fogelberg於3年前患上前列腺癌，雖跟癌魔頑強搏鬥，可惜於周日病逝，終年56歲。
　　Dan Fogelberg自70年代推出唱片，一曲《Longer》唱至街知巷聞，多年來獻唱過《Same Old Lang Syne》等長青歌韻。據官方網站顯示，Dan Fogelberg於周日清晨6時在家中安詳地離開，其妻子Jean當時陪伴在旁。文中並讚揚他堅強面對頑疾，生前曾呼籲50歲以上男士多關注前列腺癌。（都市2007.12.18.）
