　　看真實的勇氣時，只覺配樂很熟悉，但想不出甚麼歌曲，回家上網找，才知原本是一首讚美詩Leaning on the Everlasting Arms。電影插曲由美國民歌手Iris Dement所唱，獨特聲音，配合漸漸拉遠的鏡頭，餘音嫋嫋，令人回味，點出電影主題。

　　十四歲少女為追求公義闖入蠻荒世界歷險，只因她相信公義還存在。相信是一回事，尋找可是另一回事，真正實行時多少需要勇氣，策馬過河贏來信任，終於覓得可倚靠的人。
　　來到成年人的世界，公義可能不再怎麼樣，不過游騎兵仍有一番熱誠，因為有警章在身。法警呢？當少女有決心追隨，便知道責任所在。三個人互相信賴，互相依靠，走過了一段人生旅程。
　　結尾時有點憂傷，暗示時代過去，舊有而寶貴的價值逐漸消失。
